St Dunstan’s House Community Health & Wellbeing Centre

The restoration of St Dunstan’s House and the addition of a new atrium at Glastonbury Town Hall to create a new community facility in the town centre.

Rationale

  • Provides a town centre location for accessing health & wellbeing activities
  • Recognises a lack of COVID-secure space for community groups and organisations
  • Addresses the need to outreach spaces for signposting to skills, careers, jobs and business support.

Project Summary

The aim is to provide a venue for community activities and gatherings, with access to health and wellbeing advice and support for local groups.  Through feedback the Town Council identified an interest in support for local businesses, which will be available on-site.

A partnership was formed to lead the strategic direction of the new facility ensuring that it has the maximum beneficial impact for the people of Glastonbury and the surrounding areas – more details can be found here.

When will the new facility be open to the public?
Build works finished in November 2025 and the fitout is almost complete.  The new facility will be open to the public in early 2026.
