Richard is the Managing Director and a shareholder of Avalon Plastics Ltd, based in Glastonbury. The company’s origins date back to the 1940’s, and through the generations it has developed to become one of the most successful injection moulding & tooling businesses in the South West of England.
Richard is keen for local businesses to thrive and continue investing in Glastonbury, attracting talent onto Apprenticeships, and supported career development. He feels confident the Town Investment Plan will go a long way to creating the facilities and environment to stimulate greater local economic activity.
Having raised three children, Richard and his wife have recently relocated from Cardiff, Wales to Godney, Wells and, has since, been appointed Chairperson of a local community charity at Godney Village Hall.
