Paul is Director of Blue Cedar Print Works, which he established 10 years ago in Glastonbury. Prior to setting up this business he held senior roles in the Banking industry and is currently working to enable Southwest Mutual to be the first regional mutual bank in the UK. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce. Paul has lived in Somerset for 30 years, and in Glastonbury for 18 years. He is passionate about the town.

He was Vice-Chair of the SRB; Chairman of the Last Bank Standing Campaign and Chairman of Glastonbury Chamber of Commerce. He was also one of the Friends of Tor Leisure who spent 8 years fighting to successfully get the playing fields protected in perpetuity. He is also a director and trustee of the Beckery Island Regeneration Trust, a member of Glastonbury Conservation Society and Glastonbury Antiquarian Society. In the past, he has also been Vice Chairman of Glastonbury Football Club and a member of the 4th Glastonbury Scouts Committee. He is a supporter of Norwich City Football Club.
