Paul is a Chartered Surveyor with over 35 years’ experience in the property sector.  He spent the early part of his career in the commercial property discipline within the public sector in South Wales.

After qualifying in 1985, Paul, who originally hales from Swansea, moved to Somerset in the late 1980’s to work within the Estates team at C&J Clark International Limited and, as Development Director, played a key role in the development of Clarks Village and other similar projects.

Paul has lived continuously in Glastonbury and/or the outlying villages of Butleigh and Baltonsborough, since moving, and was a former Trustee of Glastonbury Abbey House and a former member of the Regional Board of RICS.  Paul was also a co-founder and active member of Friends of Tor Leisure which successfully lobbied for the land to be placed in trust, retained as a sports and recreation facility and protected from development for future generations.

Paul now acts as a part-time consultant at Greenslade Taylor Hunt alongside a part-time Estates role at Clarks shoes.
